Nonprofit incubator is a phrase that raises reasonable questions. If it is free, what is the catch. If it is a nonprofit, is the help any good.
What an incubator is
An incubator gives early and small businesses the support that larger companies buy: guidance, tools, introductions, and somewhere to ask questions without being sold to.
The difference with a nonprofit is the goal. We are trying to get you to self-sustaining, not to maximise what we extract on the way.
What that changes day to day
It means we will tell you when something is not worth buying, including from us. It means the free consultation is genuinely a consultation rather than a sales call with a different name.
Where the money comes from
Worth being straightforward. Subscriptions to our CRM platform fund the operation, alongside partnerships and sponsorships. Nonprofit does not mean no revenue. It means the revenue serves the mission rather than shareholders.
So yes, we sell something. We would rather you knew that than discovered it later.
What you can use without paying anything
Free business advisory meetings. Free workshops. The verified vendor network. Community events where the point is meeting other owners.
Plenty of people use those and never subscribe to anything, and that is a legitimate outcome.
You can read more about who we are, or book a free advisory meeting and judge for yourself.
